Fiber artist, Susan Schrott, celebrates the joys of being a woman in her unique and very beautiful hand dyed and surface designed textile wall hangings. These figurative and colorful works are personally inspired by her family life and work as a psychotherapist. Schrott also has a background in musical theater and dance and in her early twenties performed for several years with the Jewish Repertory Theater in New York City.

These theatrical experiences have also influenced and enriched her work as a visual artist.

Her artwork has gained critical attention from the art quilt world as well as from New York galleries and she has won numerous awards for her textile designs.

Schrott’s artwork appears in permanent institutional installations and many private collections around the world. Schrott is also the New York Co-Representative for Studio Art Quilt Associates and is a member of the Katonah Artists Association. Business Pink®  Is Branching Out and Heading to Washington, DC!

Pink Capitol
On December 9th we will bring our network to a new district.

Business Pink will host its kick-off event to bring entrepreneurial women together to network, exchange ideas, enhance professional skills and promote their careers.

Meeting will take place at a soon-to-be announced location in the DC area.

This meeting will also launch our new INTERNSHIP PROGRAM, designed to match women in business with women who wish to acquire skills in the workplace.  A WIN-WIN concept: no cost or low cost internships that provide eager assistants to hard working business women in exchange for an introduction to the business world and a chance to learn a new skill set.

We hope to see you in DC on December 9th.
